Being an actor isn’t easy. An actor not only gives up his social life but much of his freedom to live up to the expectations of his fans. Imagine being at work all the time constantly perturbed over whether it will be good enough for your clients.
The sacrifices made by them are sometimes way too much for the sake of mere entertainment. The fact that their diehard fans love them unconditionally makes it worth their while and gives them the energy to go on. Let’s have a look at 6 Hollywood actors that are way too dedicated towards their work:
1. Christian Bale:
Our favorite Batman of the Dark Knight Trilogy, Christian Bale is one of the finest actors the Hollywood has ever been home to.
For his role in ‘The Machinist’, Christian pushed his body past the permissible limits and gave us a masterpiece to watch. He lost so much weight that his ribs were visible.
What’s impressive is that he took the Dark Knight just after he was done with the Machinist and gained over 50 pounds in a very short time period.
2. Leonardo DiCaprio:
Leonardo finally won an Oscar for ‘The Revenant’ and I can finally die in peace. The actor who came to fame with ‘The Titanic’ barely needs any introduction from us.
Leonardo believes in leading a simple life and is very much concerned about the environmental changes that are constantly crossing the limits dues to human interference. With movies such as ‘The Inception’, ‘Shutter Island’, ‘Wolf Of Wall Street’ and countless other masterpieces, DiCaprio remains one of the most versatile and loved actors across the globe.
3. Keanu Reeves:
Keanu Reeves remains probably the only actor on the entire planet who has got no haters because of the way he is –humble for everyone, all the time.
There are endless stories of Keanu spreading goodness amongst the common folks with whatever he can do for them. The actor who shot to fame with ‘The Matrix’ has done some impressive work in Hollywood and entertained us a lot with the ‘John Wick’ chapters. Besides, Keanu trains with firearms and takes professional martial arts lessons so that the stunts in the movie look totally realistic. What a man!
4. Al Pacino:
Al Pacino is one of the greatest legends of Hollywood that ever walked on this planet. With gaining huge appreciation for his role in ‘The Godfather’ trilogy, Al Pacino didn’t get distracted with the fame he achieved at such an early age.
There’s one very special thing about him though –he not only plays the roles on-screen but also lives them, just to make sure that the portrayal of the character never goes unnoticed.
5. Heath Ledger:
I know the title doesn’t technically allow writing about people who passed away, but I couldn’t resist talking about Heath.
Heath Ledger or rather ‘the amazing Heath Ledger’ is known for his method acting and iconic role of the Joker in the movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. Jared Leto tried portraying the character in the DC movie ‘Suicide Squad’ but couldn’t fill his shoes. You will never be forgotten, Heath!
6. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson:
Dwayne Johnson (commonly known as ‘The Rock’) by his fans is one of the most hardworking actors in the business today.
The wrestler turned actor has actually managed to make it big bagging movies like ‘Fast And The Furious’, ‘Jumanji’, ‘San Andreas’ and countless others. With a whopping $65 million cashed into his bank account last year, Dwayne remained at the second spot on the highest paid actors for the year 2017. The actor spends most of his time in the gym training like a beast making sure he stays in shape!
We still have so many actors to write about, but we don’t want you to drool over the computer right now. While they’re still busy working on some of the greatest movies to come out this year, why don’t you give a shot to some of their classics?
